Energy, Renewed

Mud on my floors, birds singing in the morning, the sun staying up a little longer. It is without question that spring has arrived.

During the winter months, it can almost feel as though everything is stagnant and lifeless. The dark. The gloom. The deafening silence. But then out of nowhere, we transition into the season of spring and we see life emerging before our eyes. The trees begin to bud, the sky looks a little bluer and the grass a little greener. Maybe for the first time in a long time, you see your neighbors out in their yard.

Life unfolding.

Life pulsing.

Right in front of us.

It can almost seem as though all of this life is just emerging out of thin air, but the truth is, it’s been there all along. Though the winter season might seem lifeless, the life force energy doesn’t “die.” Instead, it pulses quietly underground, nourishing from the root, allowing everything a chance for renewed energy at its core, so that when the time does come, this energy can re-emerge with a powerful yet steady rhythm.

A wonderful reminder that life force (prana) is always moving, in some direction. Whether it’s working below the surface or working externally on the things right before our eyes, that prana has been there all along.

Carrying you.

Carrying me.

Life, unfolding.

Life, renewing.
