Prental/Perinatal/Postpartum Offerings
Meet Alyssa - Prenatal, Perinatal, and Postpartum facilitator
Alyssa is a mother of 3, wife, yoga teacher, prenatal yoga teacher, Body Ready Method Pro,
birth doula and postpartum doula. She is passionate about supporting the sacred experience of
bringing new life into the world. Her belief is that pregnancy is a physiological event that
sometimes requires medical support. She is excited to work alongside mothers to “stack the
cards in their favor” for an ideal pregnancy, birthing experience, and postpartum time. Knowing
that preparing the body and mind for birth is not just a quick, one time meeting, but something
that we can work towards together over the months of pregnancy. Her knowledge about body
mechanics, breathwork, mindfulness, and childbirth make Alyssa a strong support for families as
they move through this transformational time; helping pregnant people to build strength, stability,
mobility, and mental preparedness. Alyssa also believes in honoring this transition of maiden to
mother with rest, nutrition, warmth, bodywork, and community. She is looking to support families
that are eager to move through their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum time with intention.
Alyssa believes in the power of aligned support. She would be honored to meet with you and be
a layer of support on your journey to parenthood.

Birth Doula
Beginning in pregnancy, we will meet at least two times to determine what *your* optimal birth
would look like. Discussing your desires - not just what you are told you should expect - for your
labor and delivery. When the time comes for baby to arrive, Alyssa will meet you at home or at
the desired birthing place and begin labor support. Labor support can look many different ways -
physical support (intentional position changes, foot rubs, hip squeezes, cool wash cloths, etc.)
emotional support (sitting with you, witnessing you, listening to needs, fears) nutritional support
(offering nutritive teas and snacks during early labor and after birth). Instead of being there to
replace a partner or support person, Alyssa can be an added layer of trained support that will
help facilitate the flow state of labor, hold space for the birthing person, and witness the birth of
a mother.
2 prenatal visits (1 hour each), labor support, 1 postpartum visit (1 hour)
$1000-1500
Postpartum Doula
As a postpartum doula, Alyssa supports women and families during the transformational time
immediately after a baby arrives. It has been said that when a baby is born, so is a mother;
Alyssa will be there to help “mother the mother”. Providing individualized support to help clients
find confidence and guidance so that they are able to tune out the noise of parenting experts
and tune into the innate wisdom of how to mother their child. Creating a peaceful environment
so that mothers can take the needed time to rest and bond with their new baby. Services that
Alyssa offers for postpartum mothers and their families can include:

more can help to put the birthing person and their partner at ease when labor begins. This is a
great way to connect to your birth partner and learn preferences before baby arrives.
